Big Game Hunts
Saskatchewan's forests, farmland, and river bottoms produce some of the best big game hunting in North America. Choose your species below, then click through for the full hunt details.
Whitetail Deer
Our whitetail hunts run in two areas. The Western Trophy Outfitters area has no minimum score and is our best value for a mature Saskatchewan buck. The Great Grey Outfitters area carries a 150-inch Boone and Crockett minimum for hunters chasing a true giant. Both are 6-day guided hunts from heated stands and blinds during the November rut, our peak season. You can add a timber wolf tag, permit included, to either hunt.
| Whitetail package | Length | USD + tax | CAD + tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| WTO area (no minimum) | 6 days | $7,700 | $8,800 |
| GGO area (150" B&C minimum) | 6 days | $9,600 | $11,000 |
| Add a timber wolf option (permit included) | add-on | +$1,000 | +$1,000 |
Black Bear
Saskatchewan is famous for its dense black bear population and its high number of color-phase bears, from cinnamon and blonde to chocolate. We run baited hunts in both spring and fall, and the fall bear hunt pairs perfectly with waterfowl for two adventures on one trip.
| Black bear package | Length | USD + tax | CAD + tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spring bear | 5.5 days | $5,200 | $6,100 |
| Fall bear | 5.5 days | $5,200 | $6,100 |
| Fall bear | 4.5 days | $4,400 | $5,100 |
| Fall bear + waterfowl combo | 4.5 days | $8,300 | $9,400 |
Timber Wolf
Saskatchewan now allows dedicated, standalone timber wolf hunts, and we are one of the few outfitters offering them. These are baited winter hunts from heated ground blinds for one of the continent's most elusive predators, with one guide for every two hunters. The permit is included.
| Wolf package | Length | USD + tax | CAD + tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Timber wolf hunt | 4.5 days | $4,399 | $5,100 |
| Each extra day of hunting | per day | +$800 | +$800 |
Waterfowl Hunts
We sit on the first agricultural fields migrating birds reach as they pour south down the Central Flyway, which means fresh birds in big numbers: snow and Canada geese, ducks, specklebelly, and sandhill cranes. Guided waterfowl hunts run 3.5 or 4.5 days over top-end decoy spreads and well-trained retrievers.
| Waterfowl package | Length | USD + tax | CAD + tax |
|---|---|---|---|
| Waterfowl hunt | 3.5 days | $4,100 | $4,850 |
| Waterfowl hunt | 4.5 days | $4,900 | $5,850 |
| Fall bear + waterfowl combo | 4.5 days | $8,300 | $9,400 |
